Boris

A Male Basset Hound presently Adopted

Listen up .... I’ve got a story to tell.  After spending some time at the SPA – Beauce-Etchemin and an exciting plane ride provided by Les ailes canadiennes du sauvetage (Pilots ‘n Paws), here I am at Animatch.  I can finely breathe a sigh of relief cause they are gonna take care of these rotten teeth, infected ears, dry eyes, and itchy skin.  They checked me out from to bottom, did x-rays on my teeth, cleaned and put in cream for my ears, drops for my dry eyes, and a diet plan for my skin.  Although I lost a lot of teeth, I didn’t lose my appetite ... so no worries there.   At 8 years old, I have energy to spare.  I’m well past all that puppy nonsense but I am so excited about sharing my life with a Basset loving family who will love me to the end of my days.  I will work hard to learn everything you want to teach me; although Bassets have a mind of their own, we aim to please.  I can’t tell you too much about myself since little is known about my past.  In any case, yesterday is over ,  I’m having a good time today, and look forward to a bright future --  our life together.  If you know Bassets, you know that we love human companionship.  I’d love a home where there are people around or in and out during the day.  Apartment/condo living is not for me as I do like to give my voice a workout from time to time.  I might be an independent thinker… but good looks go a long way… don’t they?  There is nothing better than a sweet, adorable, Basset Hound to warm up the home with love and joy.  So, if you know Bassets and are looking for one, you’ve just found him.  Fill in the Adoption Form  and let ‘em know you like what you see, I can think of no better place that I’d like to be than with you.

Just wanted to let everyone know how much you have changed this ol’ Basset’s life in ways you can’t even imagine .... I know Peewee, Charley, and myself appreciate the fact that Animatch stepped in to help but what we appreciate just as much is all you people out there who share their hard earned money.  Please continue to help us; we depend on you.  You’ve made this Hound Dog a happy one.

Am I ready for a dog?

Adopting a dog is a life-changing event--or should be. A dog needs lots of time and attention and you've got to be there every day to give it. So, BEFORE filling out the Animatch adoption form, find out whether you're ready for a dog, or would be happier with a goldfish instead: Fill this great questionnaire now to find out if you are ready for a dog.
