A Male Minature Pinscher presently Adopted

The name is Boomer and before you all head for the puppies or young dogs, hold on just a minute and read on.  Puppies have to be the cutest little creatures on the face of the earth; except, adopting an older dog warms your heart the way nothing else can.  Puppies are adorable, but they're also destructive and exhausting!  Put me on your shortlist.  After experiencing an all time low after my family gave me up because I was having accidents, I am now feeling optimistic and ready to take on the world.  There is a family out there who is going to appreciate this pint-size guy with the big personality.  I am social, outgoing and quick to make friends and look forward to sharing my life with a special human.  We senior dogs seem to have a sixth-sense and know when we've been given a second chance at happiness and appreciate every minute.  As far as the “accidents” are concerned, I’m doing a good job at going outside and keep my crate clean and spotless.  You have to understand, little guys like me can’t hold for 8-10 hours at a crack.  I could stand to lose a pound or two but don’t worry our daily walks around the neighbourhood will help us both shed a few pounds.  I am 10 years old and don’t want to waste another day of my life stewing about my past – I’m ready to take on the world one paw at a time.  So, are you looking for a friend?  I could sure use one.  Fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Boomer.

“I got to grow old because I was adopted.”

Am I ready for a dog?

Adopting a dog is a life-changing event--or should be. A dog needs lots of time and attention and you've got to be there every day to give it. So, BEFORE filling out the Animatch adoption form, find out whether you're ready for a dog, or would be happier with a goldfish instead: Fill this great questionnaire now to find out if you are ready for a dog.
