Bixby

A Male Chihuahua-x presently Adopted

My name is Bixby and if you are looking at an eye-catching Chihuahua mix, you have just found one.   I arrived at Animatch along with five other dogs as a result of a seizure.   At first, I was very nervous around all the people who were reaching for me and trying to hold me; I really needed time to get to know people.  Within a very short time, I started to enjoy all the attention the Volunteers were offering – cuddles and soft words are wonderful.  If I had to come up with a wish list for the perfect mom or dad for me, I would choose a loving, confident, Chihuahua-loving person who would take things slowly at first.  I need time, persistence and affection to learn to trust again.  I would do best in a home without young children.  I can be overly confident and bossy around other dogs; I would really like to be an only dog or share my space with a laid-back dog. I can’t wait to experience the fun of walks in the neighbourhood, car rides, and just lounging around with you.  You may have to show me what toilet training is all about but I am very bright and should pick it up quickly.  My wagging tail and trusting eyes are enough to pull at the heartstrings of any dog lover! Do you have the love and patience I so desperately need in my life?  In return for such kindness, I would offer you my undying devotion.  Please fill in the Adoption Form and you might just be the lucky one chosen to adopt me.
