Bernie

A Female Maltese presently Adopted

Bernie is a six-year-old, Shih Tzu who presently prefers the company of other dogs over humans.    It’s the start of a brand-new day for this breeding mom (YES, Bernie is a girl).  She is a trooper and has adapted well to her new surroundings; slowly she is beginning to trust the people with whom she comes into contact.  A human friend is what Bernie needs most to help her continue her journey to being someone’s beloved pet.  As with all the puppy mill dogs, toilet training is a must; therefore, she needs a home where she is not alone all day.  Another well-adjusted, confident dog in the home would be ideal in order to take the lead and show Bernie what family life is all about.  Bernie is ready to discover the fun of long walks, rolling in the grass, and chasing butterflies.   An experienced guardian would best suit this shy girl.  Life started out rough, but this little dog with the expressive eyes and winning ways is ready to move forward.  Do you have a place in your heart and a spot on your lap for this little sweetie?  Please fill in the adoption form if you would like to adopt Bernie.
