Bella

A Female Great Dane presently Adopted

Bella here and I am an elegant, 130-lb., Great Dane who is on the lookout for another home …. forever this time.  I am one of those dogs that got the short end of the stick; my family had to move to an apartment but sadly they were not able to take me along.  This upheaval in my life really shook me up.  In fact, I was really stand-offish and suspicious at first although the predictable routine around the Centre has helped put me at ease.  No doubt, slow introductions will be necessary when I go to my new home until I am relaxed in my new surroundings.  I have never spent any time in a crate, but I am trustworthy when allowed to roam free.  My only weakness would be counter-surfing, so you must get in the habit of putting away all food.  I know all of my basic commands and while I walk quite well on leash with merely the occasional pull, I could still use a little work.  I am totally eager to learn if you’re willing to work with me!  I will need daily walks to keep me healthy and fit.  I get along with other dogs even though I have never lived with one.  I am just a little too interested in the cat, therefore, to be safe a feline-free environment would best suit me.  Heaven to me would be a Dane-loving family ready to help me work on my shyness and insecurity … a family ready to commit to me for all of my days   If you have the time to give me and the affection to spare, you could bear witness to the blossoming of my love.  Fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Bella.
