Asterisk

A Male Mixed Breed presently Adopted

My name is Asterisk and I am best friend material. I made the long journey from Mistassini to Animatch and I am happy to be here.  Although everyone is really nice to me, apparently there is nothing in the world better than your very own home. Now don’t think that I arrived all trained in the finer points of good doggy behaviour. That will be my new family’s responsibility. In fact, I’m a little embarrassed to say that I had never walked on leash before my arrival.  Who knew that I could buck like a horse!  I can tell you that I have a wonderful ability to learn and an eagerness to please, so I know that I will make you proud at obedience training classes.  I am a slightly independent and stubborn for sure but that is just part of my charm.  I need an active, outdoorsy family who will include me in a lot of their fun activities.  I can’t wait to accompany you on walks or hikes and if you are a jogger, I’m willing to give it a try.  I am somewhat prey driven so cats are a no-go!  Do you have what it takes to adopt me?  Does my search for the perfect home end here?  Please fill in the Adoption Form and ask for ASTERISK!

Am I ready for a dog?

Adopting a dog is a life-changing event--or should be. A dog needs lots of time and attention and you've got to be there every day to give it. So, BEFORE filling out the Animatch adoption form, find out whether you're ready for a dog, or would be happier with a goldfish instead: Fill this great questionnaire now to find out if you are ready for a dog.
