Anabel

A Female Shih Tzu-x presently Reserved

Anabel is my name; I believe it’s a pretty name.  I needed a pick-me-up.  Fortunately I found my way to Animatch through Vaudreuil Animal Control who picked me up -- an unclaimed stray.  Like all the dogs I’ve met here at the Animatch Centre, I have a good memory but never hold a grudge … we are all just hoping for a second chance.  I come with some baggage but since I only speak dog, I can’t share it with you.  You will just have to love me enough that my past just won’t matter.  I am about 5 years old therefore clearly past that annoying puppy stage.  I know, I know, I look like a ragamuffin but just you wait until you see me after my makeover!  I am not a party girl, I’m more of a homebody.  My favorite place could soon become your lap!  After a few walks around the neighbourhood, I’d be happy to binge watch your favorite series on Netflix with you.    I like other dogs but if it were just you and me, life would still be good.  Apartment or condo living may well not be recommended as I can be quite vocal at times.   Given that I am on the shy side, I might find small children too intimidating; an adult family or one with older children would best suit me.  There you have it, I’ve told you as much as I can about myself.  I’m the real deal and I’m looking for a long-term commitment.  If you can open your heart to this smooshable face, please fill in the Adoption Form.  I’d like to meet you.
