A Female Great Dane x Cane Corso presently Adopted

UPDATE – JULY:  Our beautiful and amazing Adele still waits for her home.  Adele has been soaking up the love at *FIC (her home away from home) for the past several weeks and according to Virginie Forest, Alain Bonneau and the students, she is an A Student!  Adele is very food motivated and learns very quickly with positive reinforcement; she was well trained on arrival but she has even progressed beyond that.  Adele needs to be the only dog as other canines seem to stress her in the long term.  There is no problem when she sees dogs on a walk.  Adele will thrive in a calm and stable environment; give her a little time to adapt and this girl is definitely best friend material.  Adele cannot wait to be part of a family again.  An experienced adult family would be perfect for this gorgeous dog.  Fill in the Adoption Form if you feel you are the one to give Adele her happily ever after.

At Animatch we see dogs who are abandoned every day for a myriad of reasons – not all legitimate.  However, in Adele’s case her family is heartbroken except they have no choice.  Adele was adopted from Animatch in 2017 and her family loved her unconditionally.   She had been an “only dog” up until a few months ago but because of a recent change in the family dynamic, a small dog had moved in with another family member.  Although her family did everything they could, including trainers and behaviourists; nonetheless, they felt that the potential was too great for injury to the other dog in the home.  Adele has always been somewhat selective of her doggy friends and she should be the only dog in her next home.  Although she has lived with a cat, her desire to chase can be problematic for the cat.    Adele has done obedience training and she is very well behaved.  She will need daily walks and playtime; a fenced yard would be perfect.  She tends to be a somewhat nervous dog, so an adult home would best suit her.  Despite having already done obedience training, a dog can never be too well trained and in Adele’s case it would be a perfect bonding experience.   She is an amazing, affectionate, girl who absolutely adores her humans.  What more could anyone ask for?  Adele knows what family life is all about and yearns for the day that she can once again have the security of her very own home.  Please fill in the Adoption Form if Adele is the dog for you.
